​Mother of Mercy Parish strives to be an inclusive and welcoming community to all we encounter.  We rely on the gifts and talents of our parishioners to ensure our parish is a thriving and hospitable community. 
 
We invite you to consider the ways you could become involved in the life of our parish.  Some ways you could do this include:

• Welcomers - welcoming people to the weekend Mass with a smile and a copy of the newsletter. This is great for a family to do together
• Hospitality – setting up and serving morning tea after Mass and at funerals or other parish events
• Sacristan/Mass Organiser
• Media/AV assistance
• Ministers of the Word (Readers)
• Eucharistic Ministers
• Extraordinary Ministers of Communion
• Children’s Liturgy
• Transport – bringing the elderly and injured to Mass
• Liturgical help – Putting up banners and decorations in churches
• Administration assistance in the Parish Office
• General maintenance and handyperson
